The studio examined the fundamental nature of the brick units and challenge the possibility of possible material and spatial transformation generated by re-defining basic UNITS of ''wall".

The Wall of "Time", the rectilinear and solid form of typical "brick" is transformed to hollow tubular "hourglass" unit, interlocked and composing a rhythmic wall structure.

Organic curvilinear craved out wall structure and surface is pixelized by cubic wood blocks.The exploration examines the possibility of using inorganic forms to compose organic surface which give fluidity to the surrounding spaces.

Study models

Each wood block measures 38mm cubic, and composed and constructed to form a half metre wall
